Oklahoma Ag Technology Field Day sprouting in Fairview
STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service will host the Oklahoma Ag Technology Field Day on July 28. This event takes place at the Northwest Technology Center in Fairview, Okla
The program will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
The event will showcase the latest in precision agricultural technology and industry leaders will be presenting their extensive agricultural expertise and offering unique hands-on experiences with these technologies.
“The unique mix of university, industry and producer speakers will offer an exciting environment to learn about agricultural technology,” said Randy Taylor, Oklahoma State University Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering machinery specialist.
Educational presentations include Do Guidance Systems Pay, Zone Management and Optimizing Nutrient Inputs with Sensors.
The educational programs will be offset by in the field demonstrations.
Those who attend the event will have the opportunity to test drive the newest automatic steering vehicles in the designated ride and drive areas and witness sprayer controls in action. Additionally, industry experts will be performing field demonstrations in spray drift reduction, sprayer boom height control, and hands free turning and implement control.
“If you are interested in the latest technology for agricultural equipment, you can’t miss this event,” Taylor said. “With the field day being located in the heart of Oklahoma’s crop production region, many resources allow for this event to be a great success.”
