The Southwest Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (SWCOEH) at the University of Texas-Houston, School of Public Health supports short term research pilot projects to enhance occupational and environmental health research in Region 6, which includes the states of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and New Mexico. Funding is provided through a Pilot Projects Research Training Grant from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), and awards are made competitively.
