Benefit Rates used for August
Monthly Payroll

Immediately prior to processing the August monthly payroll (1R02-0), all FY07 positions were inadvertently switched from FY07 fringe benefit rates to FY06 fringe benefit rates. This error resulted in incorrect benefit expenses being posted to departmental accounts for the monthly payroll as well as the recast batch that was processed the following day. Corrections to update the benefit expenses to the FY07 rates for the payroll and the recast batch will be processed in September as HRS has already closed August processing and moved into September. We regret any inconvenience this error may cause and ask that you keep these corrections in mind when reviewing your August and September HRS labor and benefits reports.
